Dr. Heinrich practices general orthopedics with an emphasis on sports medicine, joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures. He performs shoulder, knee and hip replacement, as well as arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder and knee, including ligament reconstruction, and cartilage restoration. Dr. Heinrich completed a sports medicine fellowship at Methodist Sports Medicine/Indiana University in Indianapolis. During his fellowship, he was the team physician for Indiana State University and a member of the Indianapolis Colts medical staff. In addition, he also served as a consultant for the NFL combine for the 2009 NFL draft. His research interests include cartilage injuries of the knee and shoulder, treating joint pain, and performing cartilage replacement and restoration surgeries.
