Dr. Heinrich is now doing robotic total knee replacements at Baylor Uptown! The DePuy VELYS platform provides surgeons with patient-specific information to make more accurate cuts during a total knee replacement (TKR) procedure using an infrared camera and optical trackers in real-time. This is the first VELYS system within Dallas County. Congratulations to the teams involved in bringing this technology to Baylor Uptown and successfully completing their first robotic assisted TKR!Â
